In 1958, she went to work for the Columbia Public School System, retiring in July 1987 after 29 years of faithful service. The family would like to offer their sincere gratitude to the 3rd floor nurses who cared for Evelyn in her final hours. He was born August 13, 1933, in Lynch, Kentucky, a son of the late Charles Lee and Bertie Clara (Connell) Huff. A private family service will be held at a later date with inurnment in Kentucky. They traveled the western USA in their RV, making the trip to Alaska twice. She served in the choir, the kitchen, childrens ministries, and anywhere else needed. Boat Happy.
